These often fail with high ESR/low capacitance after 4 to 5 years. After replacing 41 capacitors, the UPS is working. This cost about $25 which means Cyberpower is saving around $2 by using bad capacitors (buying in quantity saves lots of money)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18039016.post-34283152970243273652018-02-09T13:07:59.953-05:002018-02-09T13:07:59.953-05:00I'd have guessed this was silastic as well, bu...I'd have guessed this was silastic as well, but having the same issue right now, our leakage is white. As mentioned above, no other parts on the board are glued.
I scraped at it a bit expecting some elasticity and it just scrapes off the board like leakage would.
Also noticed 3 resistors close to the same spot that appear to have faced a bit of heat. Also look like the middle one Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06887812413166807415noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18039016.post-62243178464783839222016-07-24T06:03:02.080-04:002016-07-24T06:03:02.080-04:00Cyberpower PR2200LCDRTXL2U totally suckZZ//
