WTF this is just nuts, are we really ready for #IOT and the security that involves?

In light of the Amazon Echo discussions we had here this week…..is there anyone else apart from me who think we aren’t ready for #IOT I mean web cams have been around for years….shouldn’t these basic security bugs already be worked out?

Whenever people get excited about keyless entry I think (eg for your car or home) ....hmmm you guys don't understand technology do you ....
