Sitting out on the deck lounging around this afternoon and it couldn't have a more dramatic juxtaposition.
On one hand its the most perfect "indian summer afternoon", perfectly still cloudless blue skies that go on and on forever.
On the other hand I'm reading "The End of America by Naomi Wolf" eg the passage on the origin of the word "Homeland" derived from the German word "Heimat" widely used to drive the rise of Nazi Germany.......
Its a conundrum.
