Pool pump energy market manipulation

Wow....never thought of this before, you could hack pool pumps remotely and use the "inside knowledge" that pumps were about to turn on to short the market etc.

I mean realistically most pool pumps are on a timer and how often do you pay attention to is it on or off etc.

I wonder how many pools you would need to hack to move the market enough to make it worthwhile?
