Disappointed in longevity of Electrolux appliances

We purchased an Electrolux ew23cs65gs side by side refrigerator from PC Richard in 2009 (its the same design/model as this one), here we are less than 6 years later and the main board and the user interface board both need to be replaced (our fridge turned off and was flashing CE).


$728 in parts and repair costs for something that cost us over $2000 just 6 years ago......

Very disappointing.

I maguyvered the repair to the Electrolux microwave because of poor design a few years back but unfortunately this one, although its probably just a few bad capacitors etc,.....I had to suck up and pay to get repaired.

I wont be buying Electrolux again.
