Nikon DL24-85

Well its time to upgrade my camera and with a few trips planned the next two years decided to splurge a bit more than last time on the new Nikon DL24-85

I've been going back and forth between the new DL24-85 and last years Nikon Coolpix P610 because of the amazing photos I've been seeing my friend Alistair posting while he literally "remote works himself around the world".

What I'm giving up on going for the Nikon DL24-85 over the Nikon Coolpix P610 is GPS (this one was hard for me as I love it) and one of the best zoom ranges available in a point and shoot.

What I'm gaining is a 1" sensor, 4k video and a much faster processor so can do easily 20 shots per second etc. Should also be quite an upgrade on Auto Focus from my 6 year old Nikon S95 that I bought in France after my last camera got seawater in it on the beach at Eze in France as the tide came in (Hi Dale!)

Should be here in a month or so and will post some new photos as soon as it gets here.
