holy crap, i love the 98% difference -WOW!!!! i'd never considered this before. I always just assumed time and evolution would mean the difference never took into account raw building blocks.
Yep, I think it is quite possible for there to be extra terrestrial life and there is no reason to believe that they can’t be more intelligent than us. It just helps to get life’s little challenges into perspective really.
I was also interested to extrapolate the statement that we are all made up of the same common elements as the Earth and therefore we are part of the Earth and the Earth is part of us – a bit like Australian Aboriginal perspective on life.
