GigaOm Pro

So i have a question for you.... "When you comment on an article - should the online publisher be paying you for your insight and involvement".


Or


"Does the sum of more people involved in an online discussion ad more value than just the original reporter?"

eg I was going to add a comment to this GigaOm article http://pro.gigaom.com/2009/07/will-facebook-join-the-mobile-app-store-craze/ (and considering i own the domains www.MobileAppStore.com and have been watching this space for 2 years I think i could have added value) only to find that GigaOm want to charge me $79 a year to help 'them' out by commenting.

I know different financial models need to be trialed.... but in this instance they lost out on my comment.
