Twhirl

Just wanted to do a quick shoutout to let you know how much I'm loving using http://www.twhirl.org as my twitter client.

Solves my problem trying to manage a personal and a commercial account at the same time and their UI while a little cluttered at first really works once you give it 24-48 hours worth of trial.

Cheers,
Dean

  2. Work out a revenue model so that you will still be around in the future.

Nothing worse than a company without a model.

  3. ok so i've been using your application for a few days and yes there are a number of other things you can do to improve it.

1/ be able to 'dock' windows running multiple accounts.

Although your application opens up windows in the last spot which is good - it could be better if they were able to 'dock' so that when placed next to another twhirl window it connected.

I run 8 screens simultaneously and gettign them lined up is a pain.

2/ Be able to sort multiple user accounts in alphabetical order. It's not a huge issue but the accounts window has my signins int e order i signed up, and there doesn't seem to be a way to alphabetise them.

3/ Be able to rename accounts - i wanted to capitalise certain letters in my usernames after the setup....i had to delete each account and manually re-enter them.

4/ You also dont have a 'open all' from the accounts icon in the task bar.

5/ and lastly if you are going to ask people to get in touch with feedback....leave an email address - i have no idea how to get this advice sent to you.

  4. BTW just thought of another one - allow sounds notification (and visual would be nice) to be set on accounts manager for all accounts, with over ride on acutal windows - pain to reset all 8 settings individually.

  5. lol - btw, Twhirl keeps locking up when you have 11 windows open showing updates for 11 seperate twitter accounts.

I figured there would be an upper limit i was just hoping it was higher.

still a great product but hopefully you can look at fixing/optimizing this in later revisions.

    Cheers,
    Dean
