Autumn

One of the really different things about living in New York compared to Sydney is the change of seasons.

It's amazing how quickly a season can change from one week to the next.

It seemed like just last week that it was sweltering heat and full on Summer and in the last few days it's like Autumn has rushed in and is all around us to stay for the season.

The other thing is how much we have grown used to the change of seasons and almost look forward to it, eg winter...enjoy staying indoors and snuggling up, summer...get out an about and enjoy the fantastic weather while you can.

In Sydney it just seems like...sunny today - lets go to the beach , yeh i know it's winter but the weathers nice etc etc.

I do miss the beach though but you get what I mean.

Cheers,
Dean

  1. Of course, this change of season was supposed to happen in September. Global warming in action.

This is (questionably) nice for New York (longer summer), certainly not nice for Sydney, with water restriction and other issues.
