So I'm watching a great baseball game between the Red Sox and the Indians, but do they have to spit that much?
It's distracting and disgusting.
I wonder if they spit that much when sitting around their multi-million dollar lounge rooms in the off season .... eeeeww.
Or if their wives nag them as they are walking out the door "....and if you see a camera on you would you stop that stupid spitting habit - it's embarrassing and makes you look like a redneck turd".

You might not believe this, but some pitchers use spitting as part of their signals to the catcher and the various coaches.
